Bid by Proxy for Terrific Auction Packages

RANDOLPH, Mass., April 3, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- May Institute, an organization that serves children and adults with special needs, is celebrating its 60th birthday in style by hosting a special fundraising event on April 9th. The celebration will feature a live auction with exciting offerings, including a South African Safari and grandstand seats at the finish line of the Tour de France. Both adventures are open for public bids prior to the event.

Proxy bidding has also begun for other donated packages: Four Putnam Club seats at a New England Patriots game (and a football autographed by Tom Brady); a luxury Cape Cod escape; and tickets to three Tony award-winning Broadway musicals, along with backstage tours. For a complete list of packages, visit http://mayinstitute60years.org/live-auction/. Proxy bids will be accepted until 5 p.m. on April 7th.

"We are delighted to be celebrating six decades of meeting the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder, brain injury, and other special needs," said May Institute President and CEO Lauren C. Solotar, Ph.D., ABPP. "While we are honoring and celebrating our past, we are also looking to the future. We are grateful to our supporters, and encourage those not able to attend our anniversary event to make auction bids – and donations – online."

All funds raised will support May Institute's children's programs and adult services, technology advancement, our National Autism Center, and employee recognition, training, and diversity/inclusion initiatives.
