Autism Ontario Opens the Market

TORONTO, April 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Shane Cunningham Boles, Chapter Development Coordinator, Autism Ontario joined Kevan Cowan, President, TSX Markets and Group Head of Equities, TMX Group to open the market to mark World Autism Awareness Day. To raise awareness each year on April 2nd over 350 municipalities and 300 schools across Ontario will Raise the Flag. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is one of the most common developmental disabilities; today one in 94 Canadian children is diagnosed with an ASD. Autism Ontario is dedicated to increasing public awareness about the issues faced by individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals with whom they interact. Autism Ontario will Raise the Flag for World Autism Awareness Day on Thursday April 2 at Brampton City Hall at 12 noon.
